Dr Noel Akpata, Founder, Horasis-in-Nigeria and CEO StratexPro, met with the Government of Nigeria on the 30th of October 2020.
The virtual meeting was hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) from the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Nigeria.
In attendance were selected members of the Federal Executive Council (Minister of Finance,Budget and National Planning, Minister of Trade and investment, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Information, Minister of Agriculture and the Chief of Staff to the President.
As the founder of Horasis- in-Nigeria, Dr Akpata has demonstrated leadership in getting the attention and support of the Presidency and the Nigeria Governors Forum towards the creation of an Africa hub for Horasis and the kickstart of an advisory council for the government to leverage knowledge and sustainable partnerships from the vast Horasis network of global business leaders, political leaders, Investors and the global academia.
This has led to the creation of the Horasis-Nigeria Economic Council
The meeting also had In attendance the Chairman and Founder of Horasis, Dr. Frank Jurgen Richter, the Chairman Horasis-in-Nigeria and Former Minister of National Planning Dr. Shamsudeen Usman, the Chairman Nigeria Governors Forum, Gov Kayode Fayemi, President Manufacturers Association of Nigeria and Group Executive Director of Dangote Group, Engr Mansur Ahmed and some Chairmen/CEOS of prominent companies.
Dr. Noel Akpata initially met with the Vice President of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as a precursor to meeting the President of Nigeria and key members of the administration (see below)
